Arsenal vs. Manchester United score: Live Premier League updates Marcus Rashford, Eddie Nketiah score early

Arsenal and Manchester United meet at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday with the Gunners five points clear at the Premier League summit with a game in hand over Manchester City in second place. A win for Mikel Arteta’s side could reopen a five-point lead after Pep Guardiola’s men disposed of Wolverhampton Wanderers in one of the two early kickoffs thanks to an Erling Haaland hat-trick.

United are eight points behind Arsenal and six adrift of City so a win for Erik ten Hag’s men could bring them closer to an entry into the title conversation. The Red Devils are the only team to have beaten Arteta’s side in the Premier League this season and that victory back in September gives them the chance to complete only their second double over the Gunners since 2013.

Arsenal do have a good record against United in London of late with five wins and just one loss from seven in the league and last time out it finished 3-1 to the hosts. Arteta’s men are yet to concede in 2023 so United face a tough task if they are to get themselves into the reckoning for a place in the top two.

Newcastle United’s draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday will be encouraging for Ten Hag’s troops who can at least take third place this weekend with a result.
