22-year-old official Instagram in a series of posts and stories A male flight attendant asked her to get off the phone, she said, before telling her she didn’t like his tone.

“He then proceeded to bend down to look at my phone as he stood in front of me doing security protocols,” Richardson wrote in an Instagram story that tagged American Airlines. “This time he asked to see if my phones were in airplane mode. He asked me to show him. I did it in front of him.”

“She was using her cell phone while the plane was taxiing and she was told to put it down several times and she didn’t comply,” American Airlines spokesman Richardson said.

“The captain chose to return to the door and ask her to get off the plane,” the spokesman said.

In a video, Richardson is seen taking a video of herself, which she says was taken after she met the flight attendant.

“I’m not working today,” she says. “Vacation time.”

It’s unclear where Richardson is flying.

Richardson then pans the phone camera to a nearby flight attendant, who looks away.

“I’m filming but you jumped in my video so I grabbed you, because you jumped in my video,” Richardson says.

“You can’t check in,” the flight attendant was heard saying.

“They’re harassing me right now so I think you need to stop, I think you need to stop,” Richardson replied.

NBC News doesn’t know what happened before Richardson started taping.

Then commotion can be heard from other passengers, some of whom are asking Richardson to stop.

“You see, right? Do I see it right?” Richardson asked them. Tell him to stop. If you don’t know what’s going on, don’t yell at me.”

“You can stop recording,” says the same flight attendant.

“No, I’m not going to stop recording because I’m making a video for myself,” Richardson replied.

Richardson posted another video on Instagram of the moments before she was asked to leave the flight.

Richardson can be heard saying in the video, which has been liked more than 47,000 times, “Obviously I was listening to instructions but the way he was talking to me was very unprofessional and then all his hands were in my face.”

Richardson, a fellow passenger, was then heard thanking the culprit for missing her connecting flight.

“Oh, you’re worried about a relationship with an older man looking down on me?” she replied.

“I don’t give a shit,” says passenger Richardson before being called selfish.

A man then approached Richardson and told her she was being asked to leave the plane. When you ask why, the man replies, “The captain wants you off the plane.”

“Did the captain know what happened before he got rid of me?” she says. “So you know this guy’s hands were all over my face and he was so disrespectful that I felt threatened?”

Richardson asked to speak to the captain and the flight attendant, who also argued, was escorted off the plane.

“So he doesn’t get removed after he’s unprofessional and puts his hand in my face?” The flight attendant reacted after learning she would not be asked to leave the flight. “So I’m getting off the plane without even being told why?”

The track star then asks what the flight attendant’s name is, who tells her she won’t let him record again.

“No, but you came into my video, that’s what started this whole thing and the video shows that you came into my video and invaded my privacy, you know that right?” She tells him. “Because I have proof of this, you could lose your job.”

A commotion was heard again from the other passengers. Richardson begins to gather her things to prepare to leave the plane.

“You’re all going to see it on social media, because you all don’t know who I am,” she says as she leaves the plane.

Applause was heard as Richardson moved to exit the plane.

“She has nothing to add at this time,” Richardson’s rep said in a statement shared with NBC News.

“I want to take responsibility for my actions,” she added. “I’m not looking for an excuse.”
